Pomelo No.20 "Autumn Garden III"

Pumpa & Pomelo are collectible design objects, porcelain vases bringing together art and function. They are sculptures in spirit and vases in practice.

Pomelo No.20 "Autumn Garden III" is part of my Garden -series, which consists of unique sculptural jars and mini vases that express the different seasons of a garden with their colors and shapes. "Autumn Garden III" represents colors of autumn and shapes of dried flower stems.

Glazed inside and therefore suitable for cut flowers. Handwash recommended. Handmade sustainably from the scratch in my studio in Helsinki.

- Inner surface of the vase is always glazed

Please notice
As my products are handmade, they show traces of hand craft techniques. The colors may not always be uniform, the glazes may have small marks and irregularities, metal coatings are not perfectly smooth and patina-free. The metal coatings are always hand painted, which is why duller patches from the brush are almost always somewhere in the work visible. In my works, I deliberately play with the unevenness and flaws of the glazes and emphasize the surfaces they create.
