Sculptural Series No. 6/1 (pre-order)

Sculptural Series is an on-going collection of collectible design objects, small porcelain boxes bringing together art and function. They are sculptures with different approaches as I use the basis as a platform for my studies of materials, colors, techniques and forms. Playing with contrasts is the cornerstone of my creations.

Sculptural Series No. 6/1, a pink porcelain jar with copper coating on the sculptural form with terracotta detail. Handmade sustainably from the scratch in my studio in Helsinki.

- The product is a decorative item and is not made for food use

Please notice
As my products are handmade, they show traces of hand craft techniques. The colors may not always be uniform, the glazes may have small marks and irregularities, metal coatings are not perfectly smooth and patina-free. The metal coatings are always hand painted, which is why duller patches from the brush are almost always somewhere in the work visible. In my works, I deliberately play with the unevenness and flaws of the glazes and emphasize the surfaces they create.
